Cross-country skiing & Skating

Every Winter the entire Berchtesgadener Land transforms into a cross-country skiing paradise: In Bad Reichenhall and Bayerisch Gmain there are 25 km of marked cross-country ski trails. Guided cross-country skiing tours are available free of charge as part of the Active programme. Upon presentation of your Guest Ticket, Bayerisch Gmain offers a free weekly cross-country skiing courses on the Gmain ski trails. That said, you will also find a host of spacious cross-country skiing trails throughout the rest of the Berchtesgadener Land, for example in Aschauer Weiher, Rossfeld, Schwarzeck, Schneizlreuth or Weißbach an der Alpenstraße…
